As part of the nationwide Museums at Night festival of arts, culture and heritage, Enginuity, one of the 10 Ironbridge Gorge Museums will be opening its doors free of charge on Friday 18 May from 5pm- 8pm. During the evening you can join a talk and tour of two of the latest temporary exhibitions at Coalbrookdale and take part in hands-on family printing workshops.

The hugely popular Brick History exhibition has broken visitor figure records at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery. 18,697 people visited between 12 February and 15 April 2018 to be taken on a journey through 13.8 million years of history portrayed in Lego bricks.

This year’s Shrewsbury International Cartoon Festival offers a whole truckload of cartooning as we tackle the theme of Transport and say, ‘Are we nearly there yet?’. We will be showcasing contributions from cartoonists from Belgium, Germany, France, Australia, the USA, Tanzania, Romania, Ireland and the UK plus a volunteer from Taiwan.
